End-suction, split-case, centrifugal slurry pumps have set the world standard for heavy duty abrasive pumping applications for decades. With large shaft diameters, heavy duty bearing assemblies and robust slurry pumping capacity, Schurco Slurry pumps provide a cost-effective and ideal alternative to longer lead times and the difficulty associated with working with large multinational companies.
The pump is fully cantilevered, which eliminates submerged bearings, packing, lip seals, and mechanical seals that other vertical pumps typically require. Unique double suction impellers allow fluid to enter the top as well as the bottom of the casing. This design eliminates shaft seals and reduces thrust load on the bearings. Large particle impellers are also available and enable passing of unusually large solids. The maintenance-friendly bearing assembly has heavy-duty roller bearings, robust housings, and a massive shaft.
